Koena Mitra Age: The actress was born in Kolkata in a Bengali family on January 7, 1984. She is 35 years old and has a major in psychology. The actress is multitalented and is trained in western dance forms, basketball, swimming, and tennis. The actress has achieved a lot over the years and was one of the top 12 semifinalists of Miss Intercontinental Pageant in Germany. She started her modeling career very early while she was still in school.
Koena Mitra Controversies: The actress had made the headlines as she had been sentenced to six months in prison in a cheque bounce case. Koena had reportedly borrowed Rs 22 lakh from model Poonam Sethi in 2013 but failed to return the entire amount. However, Koena Mitra claimed the case was totally false and that she had been framed.

Koena Mitra Relationships: Koena Mitra had been in a relationship with Mete Meral- a Turkish man who was a senior pilot. The couple broke up in 2010. Before her relationship with Mete Miral, Koena was dating model Rajeev Singh who was the winner of Gladrags Manhunt 2001. However, the two parted ways and Koena cut all links with him.
Koena Mitra made her Bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s film Road in 2004, in which she featured in an item number. She has also appeared in other Bollywood films like Musafir, Apna Sapna Money Money, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena among others.
